this was after lunch at Shanghai Ren Jia, the full name of the joint i've hitherto simply referred to as the Shanghai place...
it was kinda strange that absolutely no one was free today to join us, but lunch was delish nonetheless, though han an insists the food wasn't up to standard (ie the many other times we've visited it)
at Icekimo, after getting over the usual non-productive stuff like ripping music and loading ANTM vids, we both got down to some serious work till, around the same time, our laptops ran out of juice, but by then we had done an hour of really solid work...
on my end i'd finished my 4th draft of my History IA, working on gaining each mark i lost in Criteria B, C, D and F respectively...
we headed to Starbucks, Thomson Plaza for some non-work drinks and chat to reward ourselves for a hard day's work, promising to meet up more often to emulate today's fine example x)
oh but today's work outing was at the expense of a four.eleven soccer gathering in school, and due to the nature of the gathering i wasn't too keen on going, though it would've been nice to see everyone again as a whole instead of the occasional encounter along the halls of school...
NUS open house tomorrow after worship pract in the morning...
