post worship pract, i embarked on the legendary 2-hour ride on SBS #14 from church to school, and mercifully it took me only 80 minutes, and i had some time to wonder around school before meeting han an/sean to head over to NUS for the open house...
add to the heat the unbearable crowd, i only had the patience to do one round of the exhibition hall at the bottom floor before completely giving up...
the highlight of the Open House was probably getting the best goodie bag in the history of goodie bags, courtesy of singtel and some other companies...
they were so reluctant in giving it out, but han an and i just stood there till they relented...
there was this random guy that completely just snatched one bag as i was about to take it, and han an went "bitch" while i simultaneously muttered "whore", and we promptly grabbed our's and left...
we decided to take refuge in the air-conditioned comfort of Hall 6 with Lucy and some other schoolmates during the Medical School talk, and declined to join them for lunch, opting instead to head to Prince, Coronation Plaza, as we planned to have dessert at Island Creamery...
term 2 begins shortly, and i have no idea what the next 10 weeks have in store, but i'm kinda geared up to get the meatier portion of this year underway...
