met han an/sean at Ikea to buy the requested housewarming gift (a lamp) and had a rather interesting time using the new features of the Wrapping Station...
then it was off to the Cathay to get tickets for Step Up 2 The Streets, and a detour to the economical japanese joint at the basement for some post-ikea-lunch dessert...
the movie itself was predictably fun, and some of the better songs are strangely not featured in the OST...
we eventually made our way in the rain to Newton Suites, and since it was raining, the BBQ plans were kinda cancelled and han an/me put on our best Desperate Housewives impressions and got down to helping Deon prepare the food before the other guests arrived...
and i must say we did a pretty good job of making food that was meant to be eaten grilled taste really good without any charcoal x)
spent some time by the poolside and chatting during the first part of AMI before leaving...
gotta get down to more work tomorrow, perhaps in Thomson if lunch plans at the Shanghai joint come through...
i constantly worry that i'm not what you're looking for.
