quite unknowingly, i've embarked on a slightly different study strategy than my usual style.
i've taken to setting achievable targets for each day, but only realizing that i've more or less completed what i wanted at the end of the day.
i think this new outlook has been borne out of circumstance - there is no time to do everything again, seriously.
so today, i spent about 3 hours in the library with Gerald, Mel and GenHuong, and i managed to get through the latest history stuff, which also happens to be the stuff i'm most ill at ease with.
and apparently the class has been split in two with regards to study venues - while a number of us were in school, another group was (or so i'm told) at the Airport.
i'm not sure if i'll opt for that change in scenery, but from what i hear it still remains a rather conducive study environment.
that was quite a surprise to me, since i've not studied at the Airport since 2005, when i frequented Popeye's at Terminal One.
there used to be times in 2003/2004 when we could actually study at the viewing galleries, though that is a luxury long gone since studying has been neatly grouped together with other activities not meant to be executed in public spaces such as affectionate displays.
ever since Starbucks implemented study windows at rather odd hours, i've stayed clear of the Airport (and the Expo as well, by association of distance and location i guess).

at the most inopportune of times, the Fall 2008 shows have begun premiering, and i will be hard-pressed to squeeze them into my already tight academic schedule.
