In absolute terms, it's decent.
In relative terms, not quite as much, heh.
that spell of earliness didn't last long.
i managed to get to school at about 230 this afternoon, and proceeded to plough through the last of my 5 subjects, Math.
nothing out of the ordinary in those few hours, but i'm going to miss having the company around during these sessions, not so much the mugging bit.
i wonder how the preparations for the actual IB exams will be like, seeing as these prelims are meant to be a dress rehearsal of sorts.
for me, they are more of a litmus test for the approach i've adopted this time round.
and hopefully i'll be able to just get a taste of what it'll be like to peak academically speaking, the culmination of all my years of study, particularly the past 2.
i left immediately after the library closed because i needed to head East to church for worship practice.
this was the first time i've attended one in quite a while owing to the fact that, as a J2 kid, i'm entitled to some down time in the roster.
this was after a rather funny little situation involving an overestimation of my age (though i find the fact that i left the impression of being a Uni kid quite interesting; i've always found myself rather young).
on my way there, i passed by 2 locations of interest, to me at least.
the first was the route i ran during the Nike Human Race on sunday, and i think that stretch of raffles (esplanade, padang, clarke quay; the general Formula One route) will have a special significance because of the race.
the second was the bus stop directly in front of the Fullerton Hotel, and i began thinking about November 27th, our Prom date.
i doubt i'd be taking the bus and stopping at that stop (though for good measure i found out that there is a direct service from my doorstep to the hotel's), but it was pretty cool being reminded of prom even as we're all in the throes of mugging.
