after receiving such thoughtful souvenirs on saturday after standing in the rain, we were told this morning that we were to fork out 33bucks in total for the book/stamps...
i really shouldn't be surprised, but it really does say something about the way the school is run...
the Career/Uni fair today was better than last year, and while some saw it as an opportunity to collect free exam pad/pens/bags/files/whatever else, i made a beeline for MAS/EDB/PSC/Law Soc and the SPF 'cos my interviewer for the book prize was there, and i was done in about 20 minutes, so headed for a drink with han an before attending the PSC talk, which turned out to be deathly boring, so we made the executive decision to skip the MFA one and have some food instead before study group...
that turned out pretty productive, allowing me to finish most of my EE before my laptop ran out of battery, which means i've just got to cut out 226 words, edit/print my mock IOC script and finish the last 66 pages of Huck Finn and i'm home free for the hols, save for World Lit assignment 2 draft and the trial Math Portfolio coming tomorrow, and perhaps writing scripts for the rest of my IOC extracts if i so find the motivation...
thursday finally, only Strand 2 pract seems engaging from the looks of it...
