but now that it's done, i'm sitting pretty at 4000 words, ready for printing and submission tomorrow =)
that, and my mock IOC script which i rehearsed today during SL3 free period at the beginning of the day, and had to add some stuff to make 12 minutes, probably 'cos i was speaking slightly too quickly... hope it goes well, need to make an impression...
apart from these, the day was pretty productive, especially fq's English practical where we did some in-depth Paper-2-ish comparisons between Siddhartha and Huck Finn, which was really useful... we're moving at a better pace now, and that's why i've got to finish reading The Colour Purple in time for lessons next term...
the UK universities talk was interesting in that they really sold London as an ideal cosmopolitan city to study in, and of the four universities, LSE stands out the most for me, and i think i'll apply there when i get down to deciding on my final list of to-try-for places...
but arguably the most dramatic part of the day was getting our Math Portfolio (trial) which we have to hand in my Term 2, Week 2 Monday, which probably means the Sunday before will be one with no sleep...
this is probably my most dreaded assignment in all my the IB course...
gotta get some stuff for the history presentation tomorrow done, and Friday will be ending with a trip to the EDB to hear more about UCAS...
