few artists are good enough to release albums that make me blog about them immediately, the only other this year probably being Mika's Life In Cartoon Motion...

so it is with great aplomb that i recommend to you Vanessa Carlton's third album Heores & Theives... 

an excellent collection of piano-based tracks that are strangely categorized under the Rock genre on iTunes... 

i really enjoyed Be Not Nobody and Harmonium, and this definitely matches up to them...

on another musical note (and after being reminded by han an in Gramaphone today), Teddy Geiger is set to release March, his next offering after the highly successful Underage Thinking which did not get its deserved awards (at least in my opinion)

there's not set date yet or any news of singles, but it should feature some tracks of his iTunes exclusive EP Snow Blankets The Night which i have no way of getting...
