Though we had the quintessential Wii at our disposal, we were disciplined enough to stick by our plan and have a Movie Marathon.
After a bit of American Gangster, however, I joined Chun Wui, Daryl and Gen Huong for some Mahjong.
We headed out for dinner at Mad Jack's, then back to the house for more Mahjong and to finish up the movie which was still playing.
From what little I saw of it (I had been quite determined to get my head around a rather confusing movie, and I was doing pretty well till about 45 minutes in, and then I got distracted by the joys of Mahjong, so yeah), it was a really poignant film.
We then watched Val Helsing, Definitely Maybe, and Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay before turning in for the night.
(This portion doesn't really apply to me, since sleep is something that eludes me when I'm not at home, as evidenced from the night before last at Nic's and class parties prior)
We woke up at 9ish to have brunch at the Adam Road Food Centre, then back to the house where only Gerald, Nic, Mong, Mel and I remained behind to watch 3:10 to Yuma (my favourite film of the 5 we watched) and You Don't Mess With The Zohan (a terrible movie).
2 things to take back from the past few days of activity -
1) The next few days, save for those with prior plans planned, will be starkly bare after the excitement so far
2) This lack of any productivity is unnerving, though entirely welcome, and by the end of these 9 days of school-less-ness, I hope to be more than ready to shift it into the next gear in preparation for the IB exams.
