so i just got a call from cheryl, our ever-burdened class chairperson, and she was going down the list telling everyone about monday's we're-gonna-get-screwed thing after chapel, and when i told her ty had already talked to me about the whole IFD nonsense, she was in a bit of a tizzle 'cos she and gerald had told him a different story from anne, and was worried that i would have given another slant to it...

it appears i didn't provide enough details to contradict them, so that shouldn't be a problem, and i've already told him my piece and he quite literally told me to make sure everyone's where they should be in his absence, at which point i put on my best yes-you're-right face and just went with it...

apparently he scolded matthew about it (that might have been who he was talking to outside the cpa, i can't quite remember who was in that group standing around), but i'm just glad he didn't "scold" me (its in quotation 'cos i can't quite imagine what it'd be like for him to actually do that to me), not because i'm terribly afraid of such chastising, but more because i would have been so shocked and double-snapped him with oh-no-you-didn't so fast it would have made his head spin, and that would have been a sight to see...

whatever, post-chapel tomorrow should give my day a little infusion of drama from, the get-go, and after that we'll all have a common topic to bitch endlessly about for at least a good week or two...

it's week 5 already, and i think i'll be staying back in school more or less everyday so i can finish up one of my second/third drafts in each sitting...

i'll start with the TOK essay tomorrow if i don't get it done by tonight...
