what a Monday...
one of the most sapping days i've ever had this year by far, and not for all the right reasons...
the day started out slowly with the boring-as-(insert your preferred description) founder's day rehearsal that ate up our chem period...
then it was English with Melissa, whose comments on my Paper 2 essay i've just read =)
after that, it was just hanging around for about an hour while my class was at PE waiting to leave the school with the rest of the Book Prize interviewees...
i shoulda just went ahead with PE since all my class did was Sit-and-Reach, but i mighta gotten carried away with squash or something, so i guess it was a good thing i didn't after all..
hopefully we get to play squash again next week =)
cabbed to New Phoenix Park where we proceeded to wait for far too long for short barely-10-minute interviews...
the first thing they asked me was "tell me about your life", and i was slightly taken aback, so didn't remember to talk about like my outta-school ife... i musta sounded heck boring to them...
so with that done, we headed back to school for the first English A1 Test of the year, and that was one helluva way to end the day...
the poem was perhaps the most open-ended poem i've ever encountered, and after hearing what others wrote, i'm slightly unsure of my commentary's direction...
fingers crossed real tight...
(update: after reading the links that Daryl sent me, i am SOO worried right now, heh)
had some food with Daryl/Chongwee across the road before hopping into a cab home...

now it's just Differential Calculus for tomorrow, and my tests for the term are finished =)

and if i had taken a breather from my rush, seeing you like that probably would've taken my breath away.
you're truly a sight to behold(:
