the American Idol 7 Exit song (taking over from Daughtry's Home) is "Hollywood's Not America" by Ferras (off his soon-to-be-released album Aliens and Rainbows), and it's sublime... unfortch i can't quite get it online yet, so gotta wait till it becomes available...
day 3 of the break went by pretty well, if in a slightly unproductive way...
after lunch in chinatown i went to town thinking that i'd have at least a few stores to visit, but everything (and i mean everything, save for a 7-11) was closed, so that contributed to the day feeling rather useless...
took a trip down to the esplanade to take in the sights and sounds of the river hongbao festival and hua2yi4, or chinese cultural festival... the chinese drums there weren't anything i couldn't see in school once or twice a year x)
so apart from that this has been a fairly non-work break, as it should be...
tomorrow's plans have been slightly dampened 'cos it seems everyone has plans of their own, be it overdue work, more visitations, vacations or others i don't quite know about...
nonetheless, han an/sean/me/paul (post-lunch) should have a pretty fabulous time nonetheless, starting with some delish food at holland v (olio dome's pasta again perhaps)
