i had planned to run my errands (like paying a visit to jean yip to get my hair did and to school to get my econs stuff and to popular for a stationary run) and then head back home, but got a text from josh midway through the day, and since i was already in the west, i thought i'd stop by sam's place...
little did i know that i'd be here for dinner too...
but while waiting for everyone to arrive (i was early) and while jake/sam/adriel are at the gym, i've successfully read through and made brief reminders for myself on Macroecons, so the test tomorrow shouldn't come as an absolute shock to my system after having not touched any of my work from last year for over 2 months...

oh and my class will be having our trial 2.4km run tomorrow, so for silver, i need to be below 12.50, and for gold (as ambitious as that might sound) i need below 12.00

so has this been a memorable 5 days?
in some ways it's just been like any other short break, a very welcome one in the midst of the madness that is IB Year 2...
but in others it has made me take a breather and survey things that might be more significant that churning out essay after practical after presentation...

knowing that i'd see you again has that effect on me:)
