so han an and i have been doing the simple life thing, living frugally by not taking cabs home (well at least not the whole way, i still cab from macritchie)
so far i'm not liking math/econs, the former being somewhat of a surprise...
i woke up exceptionally late this morning and didn't have time to compose myself and look through as much as i would have liked before the paper...
no excuse though for drawing much of blank in question 11...
i think i'll manage 3-5 marks out of the 16, and i've lost 4 out of 6 marks of question 8, and the last two marks of question 10, so if my math doesn't fail me (and i mean it quite literally), that's 17 to 19 out of 90 marks gone...
i'll need paper 2 to be loads better, and its a good thing i have all of 6 days to study for it...
unlike today, when i had to worry about a 2 and a half hour history paper in the afternoon...
i didn't plan, just started writing from the get go, finishing 18 pages in total, and i staved off the temptation to stop writing for too long coz my right trigger finger and my neck were hurting like heck...
the only time i paused was to read the silly Source B in paper 1, which was a story of all things, about a woman who lost her son, and i had no idea what to write about in terms of the view it gave about the Stalinist purge, and so i actually used the word PROTAGONIST in a history essay... i hope it doesn't come back to bite me...
that kinda means, like the rest of the folk that take my combination, and ONLY my combination, we're kinda free now save for math and chinese B...
