so while i've finally embarked on my usual studying habits of staying in school and stuff (it's still the early stages, the late nights out at cafes will come), i somehow found the time to sample some new music, and the first thing i have to say is that MIKA, the revolutionary hip falsetto-screaming guy that brought us the unbelievably catchy, tarty yet deliciously musical LOVE TODAY (incredible lyrics too) has dropped a second single, HAPPY ENDING, and i must say this cements his credibility as one of the best music makers of this year... accompanied by one of the most enthralling videos with child-like simplicity and imagination, this song's gonna be on serious replay on my playlist...
second big thing to take note of is BLAKE LEWIS' album, Audio Day Dream or A.D.D will drop on Nov 27, and i can't wait for what innovative stuff he'll have to offer...
