first things first - Britney's comeback performance at the VMAs this morning (local time) was sorely lacking in star quality...
she really looked like the superstar we once knew and loved had completely left her, and for the first half of Gimme More, her dancing in that strange lacey bikini get-up was so limp...
things did pick up around the bridge, where she actually danced proper moves instead of just gyrating poorly...
and she's really milking the promiscuous lesbian-not-lesbian-maybe-bisexual image, which is fine by me as long as her music is equally edgy...
thankfully, a 4th single from her album was leaked just hours before the performance in Vegas, and Kiss You All Over is slightly better than Gimme More, Cold As Fire and What You Sippin' On...

while lazing around during TOK today (isn't that what i do every TOK period these days), i overheard one of my classmates saying that given the seriously short amount of time we have before the final exams, there is a need to prioritize which assignment we do and which we sacrifice in order to get more studying done, and English A1 Strand 1 assignments were singled out in particular because, unlike the helpful comments from bjc in Strand 2, pt doesn't really give much advice (i kinda agree with this 'cos my latest commentary was written with just one comment - "look out for redundant lines")
so in light of this, studying would be a more constructive use of time than doing the written commentary from the May'03 IB paper and the reflection on Hedda Gabler, both due wednesday...
the reasoning is kinda valid, but i don't think (as a matter of principle) i can bring myself to not do the work, so yeap, 2 more nights of less sleep coming up...
plus there's math/chem tests tomorrow, and history on thursday...
and my TOK presentation is next thursday...
and econs IA 3 first draft is due the friday before exams begin...
besides these, its just studying...

can i get the remix,
John.
