this comes a bit late in the show considering we're already at the top 12 performances, but So You Think You Can Dance 3 is turning out to be a really great season, definitely on par with the first 2 marvelous cycles...
perhaps one improvement that has been made is the employment of wade robson as one of the house choreographers, and each week, it seems whichever couple gets him are guaranteed a place in the next round...
that said, i have a feeling wade is just going through a phase, where he is manifesting his creative inclinations in his choreography through making the dancers make exaggerated movements to syncopated music, resulting in dances with a staccato-ish vibe, which isn't a bad thing at all...
but i think its merely a phase in his career, just like the WR dance project on mtv was...
one thing good about having him around is that the group dances on results night are alot better than those last year...
and his music choice seem to be rubbing off on the other choreographers as well, such as shane sparks using a Timbaland track the week after wade did...
and i stand by what i concluded in season 1 - the show introduces some of the best music of today... the un-collaborated version of One Republic's Apologize was used for Danny/Anya's contemporary routine...
