so the scare from yesterday was a little unwarranted...
my results are (as deon and i have decided to generically label them) QUITE OK
38 out of 42 possible IB points, 78% (exactly, no decimal places, yay me) subject average, and everything but english is a distinction (6 or 7)
i can't say i was expecting a good grade for my prose written commentary, but after re-reading the marker's comments (bjc), i can see why i scored a 5...
english EE lecture was pretty brief, in that we got to see who else was doing that subject and meet our supervisors for the first time, though bng (as expected) made our meeting as short as humanly possible... that's why i chose him! x)

possibly of greater excitement, however, are the results from the WSDC quarters and semis -
Quarts: This House would privatise public utilities companies
Singapore proposing agaisnt Australia opposing
Singapore win in a split (england had the only unanimous win in this round)

Semis: This House would partition Iraq
Singapore proposing against Canada (whom they won in the prelims) opposing
Singapoe win in a split, along with Scotland over England

so sam's in the Grand Finals to be held at 3pm local (2pm Singapore) time!
This House would abolish the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty
Singapore proposing against Scotland opposing

here's the loudest one so far -

GO SAM AND GANG!
