When I fall asleep tonight

I will segue unconsciously from May to June, and before you know it we're past the half-way mark of my Wait To Get Out '10.

Multiple tabs, habitual refreshing, and comfortingly familiar bookmarks, but I thought something simple, resonant, worthy, should take stage front in this, another precipice post:

"...and till I see You face to face,
and grace amazing takes me home;
I'll trust in You..."

A four, a seven, and a treasured long weekend

some wind, as I walk down east coast park;
some run, with a plastic laser quest gun in a school canteen;

early saturday dinner and ice-cream chef, leaving with the sun up and arriving when the sun's down, but not at a marathon with the same name;

looking forward to a third day of what is shaping up to be a weekend of good memories I will smilingly recap over the weeks

Some things that make me angry

Inane questions when I'm watching TV is one of them.

When I'm done with the Murakami text I'm reading at work I shall do a little reflection. Till then, I shall wallow in a bit of emoe angst.

The significance of double digits

presents itself in an ending, in a growing, in a song of the unknown future.
In a birthday card that says "I bow to your oldness";
in a lyric, and in my tweet.
Like a well-oiled machine, like a principled man.
With 2-day sleep and midnight recee and, macs and koi and supper.
A reversal of pronouns that i sing in my head:
"I don't know about your past/and you don't have a future figured out..."

On the precipice of a Sunday that I hope you will feature in.

'Cos we're halfway gone

As with most weeks, or weekends, I am left with Saturday's luxury of time to sit down with my thoughts to blog, seeing as having revived the FB event for Sunday Frisbee, my time tomorrow really is set in stone more or less. So, with 3 cups of Koi this week, I'm well on my way to drinking my way through their extensive menu of delicious Taiwanese bubble tea goodness, but only just.

What else? There's week 4 of 40DOL, and I plan to finish days #29 and #30 since tomorrow's completely spent. The formation of a coalition British government is as good an occasion as any to buy a copy of the Economist (it now costs 0.50 more than just a few months before; inflation is outrageous). And there's more exciting Madrid Masters tennis to watch tonight.

Midway through May, and another 5-and-a-half months to go. Gotta start planning that London trip if I even plan to leave the ground.

Double; and I'm missing you

Good morning 10 May 10.

1. Friday's outing to MBS with Daniel was refreshing, the perfect getaway filled with good conversation, good food and excellent company.

2. Taking a rain check on the post-YAM-post-supper movie outing to watch Kickass was the first time I intentionally skipped a social gathering; strange, but necessary. I may rewatch on my comp for discussion purposes.

3. Somehow if I don't go through the whole Sunday routine of cell-service-lunch-frisbee-dinner I find myself wanting the next to arrive even faster.

May Day

Either spent labouring, or spent wanting. Not in the lack sort of meaning. But in the there is so much out there that people are doing and I think I should get to do too kind of way.

Desire?
Soul-mates.

I shall do some readings now.
