10 days of decadence come to a close...
its unfortunate that i can't say i've used them most constructively,
but its with a content heart that i say its been used the way i had hoped it would be...

playing for worship this morning was a really good end to the holiday atmosphere, one that i must confess stretches far before teacher's day, one which i've failed to shake off for some time...
but at least now i enter term 4 and the 21 days of studying knowing that i've used up all my vacation hours for the 3quarters of 2006 that has passed...
and hopefully *crossesfingersandtoes* this means a greater ability to concentrate, one that i've been lacking since last year's finals...
i have great inspiration from seeing the express ppl mug away, and i guess its a good time to join them in a month of academic innundation...

so here's the official announcement:

a 20-day hiatus from blogging and many other unnecessary internet usages...
(partly also coz i have no iBook, but that's a story for another time)
and i'll be back on the first day of october to clear my mind for the 8days of papers to come...

from 33 to 19, which is on the top row, so now i don't have to bend down and avoid my head from yewjin's locker... x)

i have the saddest of saddest news...
after positively influencing lotsa ppl to get appls,
my iBook is malfunctioning!!!

have to bring it down to the service centre, coz it like won't load after the apple logo comes up...
the only thing i fear is that my manymanymany gigabytes of music will be lost - please no!!

but, sardonically speaking, without the distraction, i should be able to concentrate on my studying more...
note the operative "should"...

did some studying with jake and EX coz i was early... or rather, on time, and everyone else was a little after early...

madonna's "jump" is my new fav track, its just ultra catchy and its new next week on 987...
its featured on the devil wear's prada movie website...
zhixin and i have bad shoes coz we only scored 30% on the fashion 101 quiz...
plus there's this create your own hell boss feature, super funny... x)

i woke up on tuesday at 4am, i think from guilt for not going enough work over the past 4 days...
did physics and bayes' theorem before sleeping again...
went to watch DVP with sean/yewjin on tuesday night...
definitely worth it, and it reignited my love for KT Tunstall...
"where's my coffee? has she died or something?"
had dinner at pastamania before that...

picked up some stuff from school yesterday, meeting mervyn on the way...
met daniel at cineleisure to watch love wrecked...
now this was not worth the cash, quite stupid...
but considering the tix cost 6bucks, and amanda bynes was in it with jonathan bennett and chris carmack, i guess it was quite ok...
yewjin came along to help us look for a bag for merv...
went to urbanwarehouse/crumpler/converse/nike/adidas and lots of other places, but couldn't find anything suitable...
dinner @ cartel with ryan/wesley/stuart/justin/jit!!
went to zone x for a dose of daytona/tc4/marvelvs.capcom...
then ice cream at swensens...

was at mervyn's melville park with yewjin to play squash&pingpong...

new discovery:
Raffles City is my new and most absolutely FAVOURITE shopping destination!!
i've not visited it for the longest time, and the first time i make a trip there in 3plus months, its turned its basement into the most amazing arcade of stores...
Crumpler, Nike by B.I.R.D, That CD Shop, AdiColour, Prints, and a tonne of cool places to eat, Ben&Jerry's, Thai Express Bistro, Bakerzin, DinTaiFung, of which i ate at the latter...
their xiao long bao isn't as good as crystal jade's...

spent about 2 hours shopping around, in which time i met
a) Auggie at the train station
b) Dot/AnnabelleMaxineLee/MichaelRyanChan/TanWenHao and other NJ IP3s, and
c) Joan and her friends at one of the cafes

how come ppl don't study during the sept hols as we used to?
i think i'm out too much as well, haven't been using my 10days of no-school to the utmost advantage...
watched War of the Worlds at sam's place before heading home...
Dakota Fanning, for all her 9-yr-old acting prowess, is EXTREMELY annoying when she screams her brains out... poor tom cruise...
oh and i came home to find my house sold, which is a good thing i guess, meaning i can get on with moving five blocks down (quite literally, from 6 to 1)

going for the Devil Wears Prada in 2 hours time at cineleisure..
dinner with class @ cartel tomorrow...
probably dropping by school to get my books and what not in the morning...

monday, that is today, marks the start of the 28 days to finals, which begin on monday, 2nd oct...
and i'm really stressed out by it!

ron's birthday party on saturday was a much needed break...
