went out with the class today for dinner at sakura international restaurant near NUS engineering faculty...
the food was above average and the service efficient, so for the price, i say it was worth it...
and the company was excellent... =)
played table tennis at sean's place before going there...

week 6 dawns, and its with silent apprehension that the end year exams creep closer...
7 weeks to be exact, barely 2 months worth of studying time...
its kinda fun sitting near the front of the class...
played pingpong twice this week...
its funny how those sessions normally turn into a gossip update as well... x)
tennis on friday at sean's place with xinquan/yew jin...
they went off for prefects' dinner while i headed to church for worship pract...
*i have way too many prefect friends x)*
all the best for the mainstream ppl taking prelims...

"channeling your inner Oprah Winfrey"
back from a busy 9 days...
i don't quite think i've gotten out of the holiday mindset even after 4 weeks, coz of the symposium and all...
have been going out almost everyday...
went to the national library's reference levels for the first time with yewjin/kevin/mervyn on wednesday to do some research for my IHS paper... very peaceful, refreshing (but cold)...
watched pirates 2 on thursday with xinquan/elandrus/yewjin/sean/daniel/ronald... cute show, under 3 stars though...
had lunch at sushi tei at holland v with sean before going for frappes at starbucks with han an...
sent jane off at the airport with the jyc comm...

couldn't go for breakfast with the rest of them coz had to rush off to hwa chongs with josh/sam...
lunched at an italian pizza parlour at 6th ave. that was run by native indians...
gelato at venezia...

a momentary reflection - by john.
when i first signed up for a blogger blog (what else?) in 2003, i didn't know if i would be writing it today, not what i'd be writing today...
though strange, its been like a collection of my weekly going-abouts for 4 years now, and when i read through my entire archive late last year, i was surprised at what i saw...
for the first year and a half, it was quite the bimbotic outlet, very szx... if you know what i means/meanz/meanx...
but its changed, or so i hope...
though not the purpose of the entries...
its still posts about events and stuff, which seem to have grown less frequent in their updates...
reflection over.
sunday: lunch at cartel with sam/adriel/debng...
watched the WC finals with clarence/yewjin/elandrus/xinquan at clarence's place...
went home at 5 plus to sleep...
school at 1
dinner at dover with the class ppl...
wednesday: went for chem supplementation with carol for the first time, quite intersting... (chem is so annoying, argh)
today: happy birthday sean! went for lunch at dover (lousy prawn mee) with the class, but we sat at 2 different tables, so didn't get to talk much with the other table...
spar at SN for the sec 3s...
listening compre on monday, then the end of Os for me (!!!)
party on saturday,
back-up singing for 3 services on sunday...

another week gone by, and i must say its been pretty constructive...
which is more than i can say for next week's symposium...
gonna be utterly bored, albeit practicing chinese oral for tuesday...
lunched at fish&co. tampines mall with sam/adriel before watching superman returns...
honestly, its far from what i was hoping for, so yeah, i'm not impressed...
slept for a few hours before going to the airport to see pet off...
