four weeks of cheer come to an abrupt close on the 25th of june, a day not near enough the end of the month, yet not too far away to say that the june hols should still continue...
as sher said, i'm 16 and 2 months old already, seems so fast...
i do hope i find a motivation that is many times greater than that i had in the first semester, coz if i don't, things could get a little messy...
but without debate, school's gonna feel a tad empty you know?
another sunday spent at the raffles area...
lunch at thai express citylink mall to catch up with jane/debng/sher/rachh/tiff/jake/adriel...
haven't talked to all of them in the same room for a really long time...
then it was daytona (yet again, this is unhealthy) at marina square, where adriel would gladly exaggerate how much he beat me by...
spent about 2 hours at the marina loft looking out onto the esplanade... a really nice sight to end of the vacation i guess...
good company of adriel/rachh/sher, good chatter, good times...
watched high school musical for the 3rd time, on disney channel...
feel-good films have a strange effect on me...
and this one had excellent music...
sooner than it seems life turns around,
john.

you know you did it i'm gone
find someone to live for in this world
there's no light at the end of the tunnel tonight
just a bridge i've gotta burn
you were wrong if you think you can walk right through my door
that is just so you coming back when i've already moved on
i'm already GONE...
i forgot to mention that sean and i went to thai express on the last day of debate camp...
for those who know me, i'm always the one to veto thai express coz of the stuff i heard about the food...
i broke my rule coz i was up for something besides the usual holland v fare of crystal jade/nydc/essential brew/sushi tei...
and for those with respiratory difficulties or are just into that burning sensation in your mouth when you bight into a chilli padi, then this is the place for you...
the green curry and tom yam we had had enough spice to clear your nasal cavaties for days...
we went through like 10 glasses of water collectively...
apart from that, been training the juniors as we (seniors) have promised, and i hope its been useful...
met up with xinquan & daniel at KAP to do our LA (B) semiar thingum on friday...
went to sentosa with the jyc gang yesterday, cycled, ate at the noodle hut, gave rachh her billabong top for her 16th (happy birthday OC fan!!)
went out with musksminussamwho'sinNYDC(therealone) and pet coz its part of josh's farewell gift to her prematurely since he'll be away during her departure...
had lunch at marche, drove daytona cars at marina square, ate japanese gelato (thanks pet!!),
took photos outside a lingerie store...
"what some see as being stoic others see as emotionless, while some view emotional displays as a lack of control"
someday you will find me caught beneath the landslide
in a CHAMPAGNE SUPERNOVA in the sky

PAUL YOU'RE SUCH A WHORE!!!! (whore is not in the nokia dictionary by the way)
*hahahahahahahahahahahasss...*
so debate camp just ended, and i must say, it was an absolute success!! =)
yay us the coordinators, all the planning, videos, shopping and whatever...
i never knew we could pull something off so last minute...
a special mention goes to the wonderful adjudicators!
kristi/dan/yk/alethia/kylie/al/tze kai/beulah/rebecca
the five of the 7 invited schools in attendance:
rgs/scgs/ijtp/cat high/mgs
most memorable moments are probably the HOURS of cards we played in between EVERY debate, be it bridge, hearts, blackjack or what not...
the 3 hours of waiting at sentosa, 2 hours of sushi...
and MRT at the end of the camp...
CHANGI AIRPORT!
now to do work...
doing the LA (B) seminar on friday...
and then there's that darn chinese consortium of stories...
paul tell me what it's about k thanks you're such a wonderful friend *smiles*
inside of you,
john.

so i must admit that i was apprehensive of RMUN when i went for the presentations and what not...
and i was undoubtedbly bored after the first day of debates...
but i think what really turned my impression around was the crisis...
being able to work with a partner in the ECOSOC made things all the more interesting, and it was my only chance experiencing what passing a resolution is like...
*clapping is in order*
and a really rushed but constructive last few hours of debt crisis debates, which ended on a good note with delegates finally agreeing with what was being said...
strange prizes given out for strange speeches*
*parallel lines have the same gradient*
and some most excellent performances for the fashion parade...
kudos to China, they really deserved to win...
and to paul, who provided the most hilarious moment of the night through exuding manic-arabian-charm...
and congrats paul, for the best delegate win!
*if you wanna bitch, be a good bitch*
and to david for his honourable mention...
and of course to darrell and his team from zimbabwe for the upset... x)
the D&D had really bad food, but good music...
*jin's a party animal!*
sang/swayed/jumped along to some of the later tracks, something i haven't done since nj's dance party this year...
bad party games, with one guy going topless for a sexy pole dance...
*if i told you you had a good body, would you hold it against me?*
*i like my girls like i like my coffee: creamed*
went to essential brew's with sean/paul/val/al where we laughed non-stop at the day's event, not least of which was paul's laugh-inducing AHHH!
*it was funny until we realised they weren't acting*
so yeah, no regrets, no regrets...
off to sentosa to recee for debate camp games...
gonna be real packed next week, not sure when i have the time to do my assignments...
shannon noll: now i run,
john.

spent 3 hours playing table tennis with adriel while sam was sleeping...

Rihanna's second single off "A Girl Like Me", "Unfaithful"
Duncan James', third solo member of Blue, dues with Keedie, "I Believe My Heart"
AND all of American Idol: Season 5 Encores, with special mention to:

chinese Os ended a few days back...
marks the end of the first semester, and with it, the studying...
not looking forward to another cycle, urgh...
i thought it was more difficult than last year's end year O level paper, though many would disagree... hmmm...
she's the man!
such a feel-good show, totally cinderella-story-esque, the kind of show i like...
oh and singapore idol - at least things are going as they should...
no undeserving people in the top 12, yet...
but i dun really think the talent pool is better than last year, though i haven't seen the rest of the top 28...
but still, i hope terrence makes it in the wildcard round...
paul twohill reminds me of someone i know, though i just can't seem to place my finger on who it is... imagine, from cat high... x)
what's it all about alfie?
