i was all ready to write a really long post about the whole council business, but i'm just way to tired thinking about it...
not to mention i have history IA/math portfolio due friday, history test on thurs, econs test on weds, chinese oral on wednesday, econs IA due next monday, group 4 proposal due wednesday and EE proposal due may 11, so i'm up to my neck in work...
to sum it up, i didn't get elected...
and i'll be lying if i said i hadn't expected to stand a good chance of getting in...
but here's all i have to say for now:
1) to my friends who got it, and the ppl i voted for, my sincere congratulations, you're the ppl who deserve those seats
2) to all 35 of ya'll - i totally respect your merit... you definitely did something right better than me to have gotten those seats... i wish you all the best for your term in office
3) to mel/joash/han an/sean - thanks for the concern, i'll get over it...
i told mel/patrick/cielo about telling jit/merv last year after getting a B4 in the chinese Os that i was gonna throw myself onto the mrt tracks... x)
and finally, like i was telling jill, its not completely sunk in yet, but when i'm ready to b**ch, i'll b**ch enough for the both of us... =)
i'm not bitter, and i had fun while it lasted...
its kinda weird when exactly half the guy candidates get in, and you're not in the top...
all the work hasn't gone to nothing, has it?
now i've just gotta decide what to throw myself into in school..
22, out.

Sunday, 29 April 2007
rushed from infocomm meeting to auntielanfong's place for brunch..
haven't been there since 2003...
wasn't the most pleasant of experiences for 2 reasons -
coke and my jeans have an unusual affinity for each other, coz not only did i spill coke countless times on the plane to new york in '04, it happened again today while i was moving a tray of sotong balls...
second of which was, as i admitted to jasmine on the way out to be a rather embarassing experience, i was flushed from the chardonnay i had with my guylian chocs, which i attribute to a combination of the said coke (an unsuitable source of hydration and should not be used as a substitute for water), the lack of sleep from searching for torrents and haven't had a drop of alcohol since goodness knows when..
thank goodness i didn't keel over or something on the way back to church (of all places)
once again in preparation for tuesday, i've successfully read all the movie commentaries of spiderman 3 on this month's FIRST and 8days and next month's lime.. all that's left is may's issue of FIRST which i hope will be out tomorrow...
its very unlike me, but i decided to check out the dance floor on channel 5 if only because benji schwimmer was supposed to be on...
and i was dumbstruck with horror...
there are justified reasons why i don't watch singaporean reality shows or any shows for that matter...
DIGNITY is, on second listening, not as good as album as it started out, but i'll recommend it only for the tracks 1-3, 5 and the last one... and the bonus DVD is a must-have...
tell me 'bout it,

its not in my habit to blog twice a day, but since its a saturday without anything much to do, here goes...
just got avril's The Best Damn Thing, and its not a bad album overall..
despite what the first single, Girlfriend, feels like, it is NOT a pop princess album...
its still very much the punk rocker chick we've all come to know and love...
however, the one track that shines is When You're Gone, a slow number which is a welcome change...
and the live version on YouTube is really good as well..
the girl can sing, unlike what she tried to do when she sang Iris with the Goo Goo Dolls a few years back...
have yet to finish Dignity, but i'll comment when i do...
the first 3 tracks are pretty similar, and its a very catchy start, though it does not achieve the dance vibe she's going for...
Wake Up and Beat of my Heart from Most Wanted were a lot more dance floor groovy...
waiting for grey's anatomy epi21 to finish, as well as the last 2 episodes of the OC season 4 which i've never bothered to download coz i thought i could get them off jake, but its been months, so i decided to just get them myself...
the only other show i need to catch up with is Smallville season 6, but that'll be later...
and in preparation for tuesday's spiderman 3, i just caught spiderman 2 on AXN about an hour back, and its refreshed my memory about where i should anticipate the story to pick up from... can't wait!

school yesterday was as useless as thursday, and i didn't even do any constructive work (at least i did an essay during the free time i had on thursday)
1 hour of chinese was spent running debate errands
1 hour of chem was spent playing cards
40mins of econs was spent playing Emperor
1hour 20mins PE was spent talking to sean/deon, then daryl/mel/patrick/cielo...
then 3 hours of cards with clarence, lunch with him/adriel leong, then home...
my head was throbbing through the last few hours of the day, so cabbed back and slept through dinner...
woke up at 12ish, talked to elendrus on the phone to help him to decide which new laptop to buy, watched grey's anatomy epi20 and desperate housewives epi19, their respective trailers for the next episodes, then slept again..
spent this morning watching At Home with Hilary Duff on the bonus DVD in Dignity, then restocked my hilary duff music collecction after watching the videos for her 8 singles...
still can't find a good source for carrie underwood's I'll Stand By You and Kelly Clarkson's Never Again, numbers 2 and 3 respectively on the iTunes charts..
i did, however, manage to get the new Ne-Yo single, Because of You, and its as his previous tracks...
and i'm liking the top track, Maroon 5's Makes Me Wonder, more and more, especially with the bee gees-esque video...
the movies that were released this week were all asian films, as reviewed by 8days, so odd...
looking forward to tuesday's premiere of Spiderman 3...
clarence reassures me that the bugis shaw theatre is nice, so i'm crossing my fingers that my tickets are good...
realised yesterday that alota my classmates watch Heroes as well, and to anyone who doesn't, like really isn't complete without it...
i was planning to do this during wednesday's post under the Heroes section, but i was way too sleepy, so for the benefit of myself and everyone else, here's a recap of the Heroes so far:
Peter Petrelli, my favourite most powerful character - the power to absorb other Heroes' powers simply by being in close proximity, and being able to replicate them by remembering how he felt when he was near them...
Gabriel Sylar, the antagonist to Peter's protagonist - has a similar power to Peter, but has to kill his victims before acquiring their powers... arose from his ability to see the littlest flaws in the human makeup, as when he first met Brian Davis, the telekinetic whom he clobbered to death and got his power, which was a useful first power to help me kill more ppl and get their gifts...
Nathan Petrelli - Peter's older brother can fly at superspeeds
Claire Bennet - Nathan's illegitimate daughter who can regenerate, explaining why she didn't die in the fire
Nicky Sanders - has a split personality named Jessica, who is her sister who was killed by her dad, and Jessica has uber-strength
DL Hawkins - Nicky's hubby can faze through objects and ppl
Micah - their son is a technopath and can communicate with machines
Matt Parkman - an policeman with one-way telepathy: can only read ppl's minds, not talk to them
Ted - a radioactive guy that can burn ppl up and produce EMPs to wipe out electrical devices
Hiro Nakamura - bends space and time to stop and reverse time and teleport spatially and back and forth between time periods
Isaac Mendez - paints the future
Linderman - power of healing
ppl who've come and died - Eden McClaine, the voice of the siren with the power of persuasion, the woman with super hearing, the guy who can liquify metal, the invisible man, Claude the haitian with memory-altering powers, Claire's Mom can conjure and control fire, explaining why she didn't die in the fire either
and of course the as-unpowered characters - hiro's friend ando, simone and her dad, hiro's sis and dad, nathan/peter's mom and the ever-present Mohinder Suresh

tonight's 2hour Idol Gives Back extravaganza was pretty good, and there were some really memorable performances...
love annie lennox, kelly clarkson and carrie underwood...
and just like i found out during recess today when i went to the library with han an, it was a non-elimination, so next week the bottom 2 will be out...
coz i was doing history last night, i had no time to finish the great gatsby commentary, and spent half by 160 break (free chem + recess) writing it out...
rest of the day was quite boring, played cards, got a class goldfish..
saved the day during the last english period coz bjc's com wasn't reading daryl and asykin's thumdrives, yay me... x)
while i can dream,

just like a nice structured IOP, my post has 3 parts:
1) my IOP
having slaved for 4 hours since 130 this morning, i thought i came up with a fairly good presentation, and thought i'd rehearsed it enough to deliver it well...
HOW WRONG WAS I
my execution was beyond horrid, my instincts were all over the place and i got stopped before i got to the best parts...
granted i had no idea the timing was gonna be so strict at 10mins flat...
and because i'm FIRST, ppl get to know what not to do from my blunders...
i'm usually that kind of person sitting and watching to do things better, but you know what they say (actually i don't, but it seems appropriate here)
so for knowledge of the text i got a 3 out of 5, coz i didn't explain the context in enough detail, which apparently was a major fault in a lot of prior presentations...
for interpretation i got 8 out of 10, coz i didn't get to the best parts which would have assured me a 9 at least
presentation i got 6 out of 10 (i could have just died at that point) coz i didn't really get my own structure right, and i could have done TONNES better during the slideshow...
and a 5 out of 5 for language...
so a 22 out of 30...
its one of those horrid experiences that, when i think about it a few hours after, i wanna kick myself and whoever else...
2) its the 25th of April
or as miss rhode island in miss congeniality put it, the perfect date - not too hot, not too cold, all you need is a light jacket!
or as i would say, my 17th...
and it was one of the more enjoyable days i've had in school in a long long while...
thanks bryan for the 生日快乐 so loud and early when i got to school...
to ron and sean and paul and melodie for the early morning gifts...
to jill the 24th for popping in...
to deon for the ice lemon tea...
to mervyn for the little pressie (haven't opened any presents btw, if you're wondering why there're no exact descriptions)
and to the awesomest five.nine.chronicles for the amazing cake (was it lana chocolate cake?)
after interclass, i went with sean and javier to essentials for finger food, great tea blends and amazing chat...
3) heroes is too amazing for words
not since One Tree HIll has a show captivated me like heroes has...
and episode 19 was another brilliant cliffhanger...
all the side characters have powers, and from the spoiler threads i've read, the season finale episodes (21-23) are gonna be amazing...
episode 20 is set in 2012 where hiro and ando have failed in their mission...
and hiro is BY FAR the single most important character in the larger story line, and he goes head to head against sylar to the death in one of the later episodes...
speaking of which, the peter-sylar showdown would have been the most amazing scene in the series so far if not for the skimpy storyboard...
sylar does his usual cutting forehead thing, and as per usual power characters (albeit post blood-curdling scream), peter's eyes turn resolute, the cut heals instantly, and he telekinesis-es sylar into the opposite wall...
as they prepare to fight, peter turns invisible, but instead of running behind him and choking the hell out of him, he just stands there, and sylar does this really cool glass shards attack thing that pierces peter through the head, killing him, but obviously temporarily...
but the most out of place moment comes after this cool kill...
mohinder rams a WHITEBOARD into him, knocking him out cold long enough to destroy the LIST and get peter to mrs petrelli's house...
and poor isaac finally gets cut from the show...
BUT simone comes back, and she has powers in the finale!

today was the most useless day to return to school after such a long sabatical...
i had a grand total of 3 hours and 20mins of lessons where a teacher was present...
2 hours of econs with aom and an hour (there was this funny incident during the second hour where both justin and i raised our hands to fight for aom's attention, but he insisted on getting the greek model first... a hilarious side-note no less) and 20 mins of chinese with tj, where we wrote a creative piece...
coz ty, kc and kw (who's the single most slack teacher in the school save for the chem department's v... he's skipped more days of school than any of my classmates and i combined) weren't around...
spent the first and second breaks chatting to deon/sean/hanan about the party that cheryl told me about... super funny!
talked to xinquan/elendrus during the first free period...
then played cards for the second and third free periods...
would have left school at 120 if not for 1)econs in the middle of my 2nd and 3rd free periods, and 2)clarence asking me to wait for me to go home with him...
tried calling a cab for like forever before giving up and, while we were walking out, were offered a ride by the debate teachers...
it was in the cab that i realized like 60bucks was taken from my wallet today, probably in class or something, by some good-for-nothing thief... so couldn't give rc her change for 50 just yet...
bad things happen during prior to my birthday -
2004: got mugged violently of my phone
2005: lost my wallet, which was new and pretty, and i haven't bought a new once since that traumatic experience (the wallet i'm using now, for everyone's information, is 6 years old, which makes it genuine antique leather or something)
2006: my iPod shuffle went missing in class, and i presume someone took it, coz my earphones were left behind...
and 2007: 6 ten-dollar notes vanished from my wallet, while 4 two-dollar notes remained intact with everything else...
can you say karma?
anyways, i heard from melodie on sat that patrick was appointed the new rep of the subject that starts with h and ends with istory, which really comes as no surprise, since he asked me to be one when justin was already handling that job...
so basically, i think ty got tired of me missing his classes, as he got tired of justin being involved in pre-u sem and what not, so he just flits to the next person...
by the end of the year, we should all be our own reps...
honestly, its just rude, coz its not like i'm not putting in my work, i'm on medical leave for goodness sake...
i'm glad that this change of heart came only after voting ended, and i think i did well in making myself look super-good up to that point... =)
doing my mock IOP now, then have the great gatsby commentary...
i totally forgot labour day was on tuesday, so i may not have to wait till next friday...

so i did go for the class night safari thingamajig in the end, and i'm really glad i did...
like what other class goes to the zoo for an outing?? that was one fun experience...
and it was made better by jim's dad's friend working there, so we got a 10dollar discount off the 28dollar admission+tram ticket...

met up with jim(who was on the same train from bishan as i was)/melodie/darren/patrick/johnchris/anne/joash/malc/genhuong/elliott/chunwui at angmohkio station to take a bus there...
decided to go to kfc for dinner, where cheryl joined us...
the whole 2odd hours there was pretty cool, though i was kinda medicated still, so didn't talk much or anything...
we went for the 1st half of the tram tour, then took a walk through the leopard trail, then onto the 2nd half and finally the suspension bridge...
the last hour or so was spent standing under the UV lights at the gift store, pretending to admire the crafts on sale to enjoy the aircon, eating b&j's and taking pics...
took a bus back to amk with jim/jcrhis/cheryl/patrick while the whole 6thavenue/bukittimah gang took cabs...
got a lift with jim from patrick back home...
worship today was cut one song short coz of time constraints...
heroes episode 19 comes out tomorrow US time,

we went for the 1st half of the tram tour, then took a walk through the leopard trail, then onto the 2nd half and finally the suspension bridge...
the last hour or so was spent standing under the UV lights at the gift store, pretending to admire the crafts on sale to enjoy the aircon, eating b&j's and taking pics...
took a bus back to amk with jim/jcrhis/cheryl/patrick while the whole 6thavenue/bukittimah gang took cabs...
got a lift with jim from patrick back home...
worship today was cut one song short coz of time constraints...
heroes episode 19 comes out tomorrow US time,

i'm not satisfied doin' it my own way
i'm not satisfied to do church and walk away
stayed home again this morning coz i was feeling like crap (what's new), so i now have some major catching up to do...
but i felt tonnes better in the afternoon, so went for worship pract...
just helped ronald shorten his verbose econs commentary (the guy can talk like there's no tomorrow)
and jim told me that the class is going to the night safari tomorrow evening!
we were discussing it the other day in class, had no idea they'd actually go ahead with it...
i dun think i'll go though, have to be in church early on sunday...
decided i'm doing my mock IOP on GOST and the real one on NOC, or the other way around, unless a comparison of EW and GOST, which will be a little harder...
today it's all or nothing,

though not a recent observation/revelation, i'm turning 17 in 6 days' time...
and by some stroke of fateful karmaic cyclical whatnot, as if my subconscious resists getting older, i fall sick...
last year i was holed up at home on the 25th of april, as well as the preceding sunday, spoiling plans and making me positively miserable...
guess misery not only loves company, it loves repeating itself as well...
spent today at home again, feeling worse than yesterday, a rare but now seemingly achievable feat, watching the collection of media that the virginia tech massacre-er sent to nbc... depressing, but that, mixed with world sports on cnn and tonnes of jamie oliver/keith floyd/asha gill/martha stewart/ellen degeneres/oprah winfrey/tyra banks has left me rather numb...
tonight's idol results show was really good, not only coz sanjaya left, but fergie put up an amazing performance...
and i hope singapore's gonna show the idol gives back extravaganza next week...

spent today sleeping my flu off and watching cnn's coverage on the virginia tech massacre...
i'm on 3 days MC, though not sure how many days to use...
tonight's american idol performances weren't too bad, but i dun think jordin sparks can or should win...
phil stacey and chris richardson were my favs, coz melinda's sounded all too typical... she and lakisha should pick a power ballad next and i'll continue to like them most =)
sanjaya lost all his spark from last week, and blake put his usual relative minor spin on the chorus of one tree hill's when the stars go blue, which was so-so for me...
still waiting for the council outcome,

today started out fine, liking my new seat during most of my HLs, doing ok for the chem test, having 80mins of math to read my 8 days (its a much better issue this week, love the review of hilary duff's Dignity - bringing sexy hag), 80min break talking to han an/rekha/khairul...
then during english A1 strand 2, we had to draw lots for the order of IOP presentations...
with my new seat, i'm at the end of the line, so i really didn't have a choice when drawing the lots...
and guess what, i got no. 1!
like how what!!
but its ok i guess, have some good ideas in mind...
during history (last period), some other ppl who didn't have HL3 coz of absent teachers went to line up for free cones at b&j's first, lucky them...
and on a completely unrelated note, i began feeling disastrously ill..
i'm now down with the flu, runny nose and sore throat and all...
its almost predictable, but i kinda thought it was gonna happen next week..
now i'm not sure if i can take my 2.4 on thursday...
so coz i was feeling awful, i didn't go with steph to b&j's...
stayed in school talking to my classmates in the sac before going up to play cards with clarence...
not sure if i'm gonna turn up in school tomorrow, but i think i should...
IAs that are due:
HIstory topic question by this friday - Trotsky's role in the Civil War
Econs commentary 1 - hope i get the draft back soon to see if i need to draw out the diagrams on the comp, tedious much...
English IOP - probably No Other City or God of Small Things... next week due, ahh!!
Chem pract 5 - do a make up or not? will decide tomorrow... and chem pract 6 is this friday, so fast!
liaisons,

week 5 began today, and we're already half way into the second term, which means the first semester will end really soon...
and its gonna feel even sooner coz of phuket..
school was phenomenally boring again, though i made a big decision to switch seats today...
it wasn't really intentional at first, 'cos i had to free up some space for lesson ob during english pract, but it felt better not sititng at the back, so i think i might just sit there from now on, who knows...
tomorrow doesn't seem to hold any better potential, with econs/math/elA1strand2 in the morning, 80minbreak, then an hour of chem/chinese/history each... at least can leave during EE and go for b&j's free cone day...
thursday morning's the 2.4 run, so gonna sleep lots on wednesday after interclass...
can't wait for my desperate housewives 3.08 to finish so i can watch...
this Hope is our's,

the narrators and lead of the easter mime...don't have the group pics yet though, so can't post those up...
went for strudel with the whole team at renaldo's today after church...
oh and the new issue of amplified! came was officially released, although i got my copy 2 weeks back...
i must say that, with each issue, the editorial is improving...
eyc's iHope conference sounds really cool, though i'll be in phuket...
stuff going on next week -
council results (or so i think)
EL A1 strand 2 mock IOP
history IA (i'm doing topic 9)
finished listening to All of the Above sufficient times to give comments...
some songs, unlike the previous albums, don't get better on repeat playback, but maybe its a longterm thing...
the final track, Saviour King, is a 12min track that really creates anticipation for the new Hillsong Live album with the same title, and i already can't wait for it...
it is not a human right
To stand afar while broken nations dream
Open up our eyes, so blind
That we might find the mercy for the need
fill our hearts with Your compassion,

intercolls today wasn't too bad...
lost the 4th round to acjc, then won the 5th against nj...
and according to my flawless calculations, the finalists were rj/vj (the other school with 4 wins)
i have a feeling we might have been 5th or 6th (wsdc and acjc were 1st and 2nd), along with hwachong who won 3 as well..
went back to school just in time for the OM results...
go paul/JC/jem/yeang/jlow/hadi/jin!
200/200 for ltp, a rare feat indeed...
dinner at mad jack's next to king's arcade with them and the entire maryland 2004 team (rayan/coll/dhanesh/tim) minus andrew...
that's the name of the joint that i complained about back in '05 for having sucky food...
and it still does, honestly...
waiting for voting results so anxiously right now,

i was nervous like heck during voting yesterday..
bryan (who told me he felt the same way after) and i were going to collapse lah...
but now its over, and i'm just hoping...
=)
went to school late (by late i mean 4 hours kinda late) coz i was really tired and i thought we were gonna run 2.4 on friday, so wanted to finish my econs IA draft first...
but in the end they postponed it, so yeah...
the council nominee meeting was way long, lasting till 7-ish, but i left with andrew at 6plus to join the rest at training at sam's place...
friday week B, like today, is probably the single most useless day in the timetable...
we have an hour of SL 2 (chinese for most) and SL 1 (chem, which is the day after pract, so not much teaching goes on, except that we had a test today), then 40mins of HL 2 (econs, but the lesson practically starts 15 mins late, so we have 25 mins of nothing), and then 40mins break before PE...
five.nine finally got around to switching PE and break so we end school earlier...
did SBJ and situps for today...
then went back to class to play cards before the history IA briefing...
spent the rest of the few hours before heading out with melodie at 3 talking to deon/han an/mel/cheryl/anne...
rest of intercolls tomorrow...
and the OM performances, which i don't think i can watch coz its at 1130...
and to end on a high note, New Music Tuesday heralded the release of Hillsong United's 2 new singles - Point of Difference and Solution, which indicates that the album should be in singapore soon...

but being impatient, i've got it already..
still listening, so can't make any judgments yet...
just that its not live (a pity), its a studio album...
hope the new Hillsong Live album, Saviour King, makes up for this missing factor...
so far, as with the past 3 United albums, the opening track is amazingly inspiring...
Point of Difference is no different, with a really really good rhythm and chorus...
this is Love

i complained to some ppl a week before campaigning began that for the first time since ever, i'm not really enjoying school...
and though my source of discontent is manifold, i think most of my friends know what it is...
today was a particularly bad day, where every lesson was boring as heck...
i'm not the only one who feels that way, as i've read from some of my classmates' blogs...
but more on that later...
so after school ended i gave clarence a call to see if he was going home, but he was going out with his classmates...
subsequently went with han an/deon to binge in the SAC (my life how sad, must eat canteen food)
the best thing to happen to the school this year is the pasta store, its got tiramisu at least...
ate and ate and ate and chatted like mad...
i'd forgotten how exhilirating it is... haven't laughed like that in a long time...
its funny how talking to different groups of friends can make you laugh at totally different things...
like talking to them/sean they all the ittybitty details of ppl are scrutinized and discussed at length...
when talking to the rest of my exclassmates from .11 its like just joking and whatever...
and when talking to rachh/sherr they all its just one huge laughfest...
more on that later...
left jit/merv/clarence they all at the SAC to go home,
got robbed of my file on the way by elendrus, chatted with exmathteacher, then read more of EAST WEST on the way back..
haven't had the energy to read on the bus/train in the longestLONGEST time, but the long weekend did wonders for my post-campaign/work-wrecked body...
and when i got home, i decided that the ridiculous break from blogging needed to stop...
i remembered how i thought ppl who closed down blogs just couldn't sustain, and there was no way i was gonna end up like that... blogging, as has been for the past 5 years, is a great fun outlet... *pats blog - good blog!*
so while changing my template to simplify everything, i decided against a wordpress page though its super in vogue, coz i'm also personally against changing blog addresses... go jlcaines.blogspot.com!
and after that, decided to reflect on what's been keeping me down for so long...
so 'more on that later' topic 1 -
as i was reading my classmates' blogs that were linked from classoffivepointnine.blogspot.com, i realised that i was missing out on a tonne of what's been going on...
and its not a new revelation...
my quietness and severe introvert-ism in class is in no way desired, but i've chosen it more out of not wanting to intrude on ppl's groups and such, but its taking its toll on me...
much of the reason i go to school is for the ppl, and the ppl i spend the most time with are from my class...
thusly i resolve to be a tad more open, gradually of course..
its not like i dunno anyone, far from it...
i knew songyeong from choir since sec 1, shaoxiong/genhuong from sec 1 too, chunwui/matthew/nicholas from way back in p5 (gosh the js days seem so long ago), malc from the primary school days too (can't remember if we were in the same class!), gerald from rmun last year, jim from being a loyal debate supporter, tedkin/justin from the uber OM batch of '04...
so yeah, it IS kinda hard being the only .11 guy, but that's something ppl have overcome and i should too..
its APRIL for goodness sake...
topic 2 -
church ppl!
have spent alota time with rachh/sher since the ebb from jyc comm'05...
and jasmine too..
got to know kevin, and talked to guonian more (never really did even though we were practically in the same group since sec 1), and elisa and jp too, though i see the former alot in infocomm too...
the easter drama was an immense success, and the acoustic guitar stuff was great too!
looking forward to cheesecake already!
and finally, westside story with musksminusjoshincamp+rachh/sher/debng(helloaussiegirl!) was fun, though the singing wasn't too great...
i would have watched it only for the i'm so pretty song!
met miche after a long time too... love them pumps! x)
its supposed to be recampaign week, but today all the candidates were like, no thanks...
there was zero activity except for a few posters that weren't particularly noticeable...
stuff to look forward to or get over in the next few days:
Econs IA 1 Draft due friday - everyone's doing sand, me included...
2.4 run on friday morning! go class!
friday's periodicity SL chem test...
interclass debates & hc spar on wednesday...
acjc intercolls rounds4/5 on sat...
and courtesy of pet from down under, Ben&Jerry's FREE CONE DAY next tuesday, probably going to the vivocity one, yay!

more connection pls?

here's taking a break from my blogging hiatus (unintended, circumstantial, indefinite) to inform everyone of the 6 movies that i will WILL MUST MUST must waetch when they come out... ticket bookings for the 1st may showing of spiderman 3 have already been made available on gv online, but its a tuesday, so not really a good time to enjoy a movie coz school ends so late and all...
next week is re-campaign week, and i hope i don't burn out like last time..
